In dispatch logic the job is the most important thing. The job is King. Never let the job get late!. Always ensure any pre booked jobs are sent out on time. The customer has rang through for these jobs so its your job as an operator to make sure they get to their destination on time. Play particular attention to job that are critical like train and airports. If a customer misses one of these jobs they will miss their connecting journey or flight.
Dont miss the train
The job will at all times look for the car.
The job will come with the dispatch logic that should be applied to it. There will also be a priority assigned to the job and depending on the priority the system will move it up and down on the queue.
Job types can be given priority. The way the system works is by looking at all the jobs and then deciding there is a priority I will give the job to priority 1 and then i will come back to priority 2.
The priorities can be applied to any kind of jobs and also the system start to increase the steps for the job. So for example you have a priority of 0 and steps of 10 and the order size of 100 metres. The priority of the job is low so will go towards the bottom of the dispatch and when it does send it out it will only do 10 stepped increases of 100m so will look at a maximum of 1KM for that job. If the trigger point for the job is 5 mins then after five mins it will make the job a priority 1 which will mean it will go higher in the list and might possibly apply more steps.
There are lots of different types of priorities.
Airports
Stations
